Sales Counter Executive Full Time

We are seeking a smart, customer-friendly, and sales-driven Sales Counter Executive to provide excellent front-line service in our retail store. The ideal candidate will assist walk-in customers, recommend products, process sales transactions, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience that drives repeat business.

This role is key to improving customer satisfaction, boosting store sales, and maintaining a professional brand image at the point of sale.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers at the sales counter
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
• Explain product features, pricing, and promotions clearly
• Process cash, card, mobile money, and POS transactions accurately
• Issue receipts, invoices, and maintain proper sales records
• Support upselling and cross-selling to increase basket value
• Handle customer inquiries, exchanges, and basic complaints
• Ensure the counter display is clean, attractive, and well-organized
• Monitor fast-moving products and report low stock levels
• Coordinate with warehouse or store staff for stock replenishment
• Support store opening and closing procedures
• Maintain excellent customer service and brand presentation standards

Requirements & Qualifications

• SHS, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good numerical skills and cash handling accuracy
• Experience using POS systems, barcode scanners, and mobile money platforms
• Friendly personality with strong persuasion skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and retail shift schedules
• Well-groomed and professional appearance
